Seller's notes: "This 544 is very solid for 54 years old. No visible rust or bubbling on the outer body or paint that I can see, some surface rust where paint is missing in a few little areas. No broken glass. Original upholstery needs redone, dash pad is coming off above steering wheel, headliner is there but needs redone, leaks a little oil, ignition switch isn't mounted in hole (missing nut thats holds it tight), body has little dings/dents. Runs and drives good. Brand new Weber carb K-8905 conversion installed last week. The guy that traded it in drove it daily in the summer. He said it has the better motor from a 1964 544. It has been converted to 12V. Trunk sticks up about 3/4 inch on upper right hand corner (bent hinge maybe?) Haven't put it on a lift to check underneath but crawled around and looked under it. Looked like both front floorboards have been patched. Rest of it looked OK, rockers look good."
