This car is stunning.
I have had people walk right past a Lamborghini to come look at it.
People at the red light roll down their windows to ask what year it is.
My neighbors want me to take them for a ride in it.
Of course. once I stop at a gas station. then the crowd gathers.
This 1956 190 SL is set up as an everyday driver.
The paint is a metallic red which appears to have gold in it when the sun hits it.
It has ice-cold air conditioning. a soft top. and Mercedes wire wheels - very unusual to see these days.
People just love the combination.
It has more power than a stock Mercedes 190 SL because it has been upgraded with a more modern. dependable 4 cylinder engine and 5 speed transmission.
You can always convert it back to an original drivetrain -this car is priced well below the market in order to allow you the financial room to do just that - but the previous owner went to great expense to create the perfect daily driver.
Why would YOU start from scratch with a rust bucket? The hard work is already done here.
Now it has that classic look with a modern. powerful drivetrain.
The seats are a soft. comfortable fabric that doesn't burn you in the summer nor freeze you in the winter.
