1968 PLYMOUTH GTX

I bought the car in Nov 09 from the Ohio and shipped it home myself. This is what the car had from purchase. A very low production car with only 9771 four speed cars and fewer yet with the Hemi 4 speed. This vechile is not your ordinary GTX it is completely gone through with thousand spent on the engine alone. i have piles of reciept from mostly Summit Racing. Everything is new. This is a 72' 440 Block bored 30 over. The heads been completly gone through. The engine is loaded with all new performance components. All the reciept go with the car. Predator Carb. High performance manifold. wires. plugs. Complete MSD distributor. and ignition system. The headers and exhausts are 1224. 95 on parts alone. Ceramic coating to keep the temp down and they sound unbelievable. 3 inch to funnel the 475 hp  out the rear.  People stop and wait when they hear it coming. The radiator has been record . all fuel lines are new and electric fuel pump to feed the fuel hungry beast. New extra small starter motor for heat protection. New SSBC disc brake conversion. New custom off set Torque Thrusts. New 11 inch competion clutch with performance pressure plate and bearing. New bailey Morris propshaft with Hoser racing UJ. Transmision is original 4 speed Hemi and has been fully rebuilt. the shifter is new. the linkage mostly new and shifts with ease.  Have original refurbished Drum brakes. Tank been cleaned and lined. new carpets installed.  Body wise this is a rock solid car with the only rot on the top of the rear wheel arch. very little. the trunk floor is solid. floor pans excellent. underneath it needs nothing. it has been cleaned and POR 40 rust preventive painted and is really solid all frame rails tied in. This is a really straight and solid car and that is why i purchased it. It is like it has never been left out in the rain or damp. Original Vinyl top which is perfect. Trim around windows is perfect. front grill. I have a complete new one. light bezels need painting. Rear panel. I have a complette reproduction one cost 1200- dollars still in box. Hood is new reproduction. hood vents original. with new 440 embelms. New lock sets. new door handels. new side mirrow. New dash pad fitted.  Interior. i have a new complete black interior from ledgendary. all seats. door cards rear cards. sail panels. rear shelf. new roof lining. centre consel.  cost was about 5500 dollarsThis is a car that has had a fortune spent on it mechanically. that has made it a hoot to drive and i have had a high 13 at the pod. taken it there a couple of times and blasted up the road. The roar. shake and twist of the torque as it lays down the power is crazy. To make this a perfect fast mechanically sound collectors piece would take very little. good paint and trimming. The original crocodile vinyl just looks to good to remove and you would only need to paint bottom of car. There is about 4 k in paint. and about 3 k in electric and trim work. there are 95% of what parts needed to make this show perfect included.
It pains me to sell the car. It is currently in storage if you are serious give me a call and i can arrange for it to be dusted down and run up for you.
