Up for sale is my real BS23 1970 'cuda. It's an original 383 big block. 4 speed car finished in factory B5 blue with black interior. It also has a vinyl top. onsole. uckets. nd rear spoiler. This is a sales bank car with some cool options including a provision on the fender tag for a hockey stick stripe. ood pins and fender mounted directionals. This 'cuda was a California car most of it's life and then went to Texas for the last 4 years. It has been with me since January 2013 and i added a few grand in parts to take it further along to being more complete.

This was a very clean and solid foundation for restoration when the previous owner took possession of it. He gave me the background info on the car's restoration. The car is a nut and bolt rotisserie restoration. The entire tub was media blasted down to bare metal. rimed and painted body color. He told me that the quarters were solid. ut he found the trunk drop area packed with nesting materials and he worried that the quarters might rust out behind the wheelwells. o he replaced both of them with full AMD quarter panels. There were pinholes in the trunk. o he also replaced the trunk pan with an AMD one piece unit as well. He also told me that during the restoration. he replaced the 22" core support with a 26" one because of the summer heat in Texas. He wanted to make sure the car was going to run cool. The floors. irewall. ockers. owl etc. is the rust-free. riginal mopar sheetmetal that this car was born with. please view the pics showing the Vin sticker in the driver's side door and cowl vin stamping.

I laid underneath the car to take pics and i can say that the car is extremely solid and i did not see any pitting under the beautiful EB5 paint. The paint is a single stage acrylic enamel. The front k-member suspension was blasted and powdercoated and all front end suspension components replaced. Ball joints. ie rods. dler arm. ew hemi torsion bars. umper stops. inion rubbers etc. A new gas tank was installed. The 4 speed pedals have been restored and pedal pads installed. The car also has original mopar disc brakes. It has a new vinyl top and the interior was replaced with all new Legendary seat covers. eat buns and carpeting. The dash housing was blasted and repainted and a brand new 1970 barracuda dash pad with steel liner from Just dashes was installed. A new heater box seal kit. firewall seal kit and floor plug kit was installed. The car has a new windshield. The rear window is original. The door and quarter glass is all present and in good shape. The stainless and the wide gilled rocker mouldings are in good shape. New AMD bumpers. 83 emblems for hood and 'cuda emblem for rear taillight panel were added. The door panels are originals and are in decent driver quality condition. It has a nice original 70 steering wheel with no cracks.

In my opinion. he paint is a 7 on a 1-10 scale. ut i am pretty picky. It needs to be buffed out to make it show car worthy. It has a nice detailed original grille with red bar mouldings. Brand new centers caps for the 14" wheels. oor sill plates. tc. The car comes with great documentation including original Vin tag. ender tag and door sticker. When i got the fender tag with the car. it was unrestored. It has a very light scale on it and i decided to preserve it's originality and leave it that way for the next owner. No build sheet was found. It has a clear title and is ready to be transferred to the new owner.

Why am i selling the car at this stage? I have too many projects on my plate and not enough money to complete them. Other things are taking priority over this 'cuda and i wish to send it down the road to someone who wants to finish it up and enjoy it. The original 383 engine is long gone. ut the numbers matching 4 speed trans is still present and is included with the car. The new owner can either hunt down a date code correct 383. r do like i wanted to do and drop a 426 hemi or a 440 six barrel in it and raise the value even more. Then it's worth 70-80K at the auctions. There are a few options with no worries about blowing up an original motor. In the end. ou still have a very nice real BS23 'cuda with desireable colors and options. And for those looking for a real 'cuda. here is no substitute.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have. i have been as honest and forthright as i can be about the car. What you see is what you get. I want the new owner to be happy and know what they are purchasing.

I realize there are a lot of guys interested in this car that just don't have the cash to buy it outright. o i would consider partial trade/cash offers. ((( PLEASE NOTE ))) My considerations for a trade are not limited to Mopar. I would consider any make or model Mopar. M or Ford. I am willing to consider restored cars. survivors or projects. Let me know what you've got. I have taken about 70 pictures of the car. Ebay will not allow me to post the link. Email me and i'll send you the link. You can reach me at 1-414-671-3364. If i do not answer. lease leave a message and i will call you back as soon as possible. Thanks. Dave
