This has been a ground up complete restoration.

New paint (vw paint code LE 1 B) original spec

Entire underfloor coated with POR 15 (Corrosion sealant)

Cabin sound proofed with Acoustibloc

New carpet

Used interior from earlier model ( perfect condition with no fading or cracks)

New pistons and rings

New bearing

New seals

New cylinder head

Polished crank

Many Many other new parts.

This has been a 5 year project. Family member has fallen ill so I have to cancel this project.

Fuel pump overhauled by Borch (practically new pump)

Fuel line to engine not hooked up. (Engine runs with temporal fuel source)

Linkage form gear lever to transmission needs to be hooked up

A/C compressor needs to be installed

Minor wiring ie ( gauge cluster not hooked up)

cold start cable needs to be installed(New cable)

Dash cover and radio need to be installed

Front grille and trim

Parking brake and brake lines

As far as I can tell this are the major items left However like all major rebuilds there might be other minor issues

This is going to be a beautiful VW Pickup. with the 2. 0 liter AAZ Turbo diesel. A/C. Sound proofed with GTI wheels.

Paint is VW rabbit code LE 1 B
