Excellent daily driver and local show-n-shine car for sale

Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.15) based on 322 votes

1969 Charger R/T tribute car. 383 engine. 727 automatic transmission. power steering. power brakes.   Runs and drives great and looks good on the street.   Car has an older restoration that is showing some wear and is a good local show-n-shine candidate.

Drivetrain:  Rebuilt 383 with a  forged steel crank. Holley Street Dominator intake. nbsp;Holley vacuum secondary 4 bbl carburetor. headers. and electronic ignition upgrade.   Automatic transmission was rebuilt. adding a shift kit and torque converter. with a B&M ratcheting floor shifter.   Cooled through a 26" radiator.   Equipped with a front sway bar and 8-3/4" rear axle.   Tires hold air and are weather checked.

Body:  Car presents itself well in bright blue metallic paint.   It appears to be factory B5 in color.   Overall paint and body work is nice for an amateur paint job with some dust in places and a little tiger striping in the metallic on the hood.   Car is very solid with no rust in frame. floor pans. or body panels.   Only rust issue is the bottoms of the trunk extensions as these were not repaired when the quarter panels were fixed.   Trunk floor is all original and absolutely solid enough to pass a screwdriver test.   Body filler between the taillights is cracking and also above the left rear wheel opening is cracked from running too wide of tires without enough clearance.   Right rear quarter panel brushed a garage door opening and was pushed back out from inside the trunk.   Grill and headlight doors are in good condition with the standard center section damage.   Hood mounted turn signal indicators are missing. as is the hood latch release lever. so there is a cable hanging down behind the front license plate to release the hood.   Bumpers and chrome trim are nice originals in fair condition.   Windshield is nice with no cracks and all remaining original glass has some light scratches from normal use.

Interior:  Bucket seat interior has all been recovered in black vinyl.   Seats have a few loose seams and couple puncture spots and are overall in great condition.   New carpet. nice door panels. 3-speaker dash with a crack-free dash pad.   Upper door pads are in poor shape and should be replaced.   Autometer gauges complete the instrument panel.

Electrical:  Headlights. taillights. and brake lights all work. however the turn signals do not operate.   I'm not a fan of the Autometer gauges and would recommend factory gauges and a new dash harness be installed to correct the interior and wiring.

Title:  I have a clear Wyoming title in my name.   At the time the car was restored. the tags were missing and the owner opted for a South Dakota assigned VIN number.   This is stamped into the drivers door jamb and listed on the title.   The factory sequence number is still on the body of the car.
