This is a no reserve auction for a mk 1 Mini Cooper that I have owned since 2001.
When I bought the car someone had started to restore it and had done all of the welding work that was needed. unfortunately the car has been stored outside and is in need of some major work. The engine and gearbox have been removed from the car but are complete. I have most if not all the mechanical parts for the car including the calipers. although there is no grille. and some trim and rubber seals may be missing. This is obviously a major project. however these mk 1 Mini Coopers can fetch big money if they are restored nicely.

This is a genuine Morris Cooper mk 1 with chassis tag ID and the V 5 c has been applied for.

Is this car still around for sale - from what I can see it was put on a while ago but I have been looking out for a similar one for a while and not seen this yet.
If it is still around then I would be prepared to make an offer of around your asking price after visiting the car - where abouts are you based?
