Here you are looking at molly our morris minor traveller. the car is in very good condition the paint work is very nice and shiny and attracts a lot of attention when out. the interior is in very good condition with good seats that have no rips or tears and good quality carpets. there are static seat belts in the front. she drives very well and has proved very reliable everything works as it should although there is not that much to go wrong with a morris that can not be repaired at home. the engine has been fitted with a lead free cylinder head but apart from that she is standard with the standard dynamo which works fine. the brakes are up to the job of stopping the car but if you are not used to drum brakes all round they take a bit of getting use too. the rear brake drums and shoes have been replaced not long ago and the fronts are good. the woodwork overall is in very good condition however the right rear corner post and a bit under the right rear window have drawn a little water and when dried out completely will require re sealing you can see this in the pictures were the wood has gone a little dark but this is easy to bleach out and re seal. under the car is in good tidy condition and has some repairs in the past but done to a good standard there is no welding needed now. these cars attract a lot of attention wherever they go and there is a huge owners club for them. spares are amazingly cheap and you can buy anything you need to keep your pride and joy on the road or upgrade it if you wish. the only upgrade i have added is the high level brake light in the rear door as i find that modern car drivers see this better than the original lights which work with it. she is a 1967 model which makes her tax exempt and is very cheap to insure on a classic policy. the car comes with an original drivers handbook and we also have the morris workshop manual for it . this is not a perfect show car but a very nice everyday classic which can be enjoyed or if wished further improved to show standard. mot till 21/8/2014 and taxed till 31/7/14 which is free. the price reflects the overall condition considering fully restored examples go for over £10. 00 these days. the only reason i am selling our molly is that i have been told that i am being made redundant and i need to set myself up ready for self employed status. this will mean i have neither the time or money to give to molly so i have to part with her for this reason. i advise that you are welcome to come and view molly before end of auction to ensure you are happy with her. please do not bid unless you have viewed as i do not have the time for time wasters. this is a great car if you are mechanically minded and fancy a classic thats easy to live with. you can email any questions or call on 01214585241 or mobile 07778515250 and ask for andy. the car is located in the kings norton area of birmingham
