Very Original unmolested Mk1 Lotus Cortina. This is a project which I bought a few years ago and have never started. its been kept in dehumidified storage though throughout this time. nbsp;
Requires Engine assembly. as far as I can see everything is with the car and it will not require much effort or expense to complete. I was told that the bottom end has been rebuilt but would not like to verify thisThe car is not yet UK registered although I have the forms and paperwork for the new owner to do this (requires MOT to complete the process)The Lotus Cortina register are aware of the car. I checked the ID and the origin before I bought it and its 100% Genuine. The car sits on original steel wheels with new tyres. It has been painted about 4 years ago. its not concours but I have seen a lot worse. Its not rotten or crumbly and does not show any signs of historic body damage. Trim is good / excellent but does require a good quality carpet.  You could use the car with very little work or totally rebuild to make a showstopper. Leaf spring rear suspension and steel panels. Built 1966) Looks to have the correct gearboxThe car has not been on the road for a few years so allow to recommission the brakes etc. Please message me with any questions and include your number if you want to view the car.
