This post was relisted because of technical difficulty. Sorry for the inconvenience.

You are bidding on this all original untouched 1951 Dodge m37. As far as I know nothing has been replaced since it's been discharged from the military. These are the military versions of the original dodge power wagon. This is a running and driving vehicle but it is 63 years old. The motor runs great but the carb needs to be rebuilt. The fuel pump seems to work better than my rebuilt one on my other m37. The only thing I did to this since I purchased it was get it running and driving. I replaced all the fluids and greased everything before doing so and it has all new fluids in it right now. It seems like it runs better than other ones I've driven. The brakes need to be fixed but the e brake works great. The transmission and T case shift great. The 4 wheel drive works great and it rides like a Cadillac.  The gas tank will need to be cleaned out or replaced. I currently use a gas jug to drive it. The body is very straight and in really good condition. This would be the perfect restoration project for someone who wants to make one all original because you know what it's actually suppose to look like. it would also be great to leave it just like it is because I guarantee you you'll never find another one like it being all original and unrestored and if you do it won't be for sale. It would also be great for a museum as well. Being sold "as is". If the purchaser wants any extra parts I will sell him/her what they want for cheap. Please ask all the questions you want and I'll answer them to the best of my knowledge. Happy bidding!

History: This m37 was the 3900th one built out of 115. 64. It was discharged from ft. Lewis WA on July 29. 1977 after its service. It was then sent to Camp Withycombe in Clackamas OR for distribution or sale to government agencies like fire departments. forest service and cities for snow plow trucks. This one ended up being a backup at the Mosier fire dept. in Oregon. They said it was driven in the parade once a year and thats all they ever used it for. They kept perfect records on all repairs done to it. when oil was changed and even wrote down how many gallons of gas they put in it and the miles that were on it at the time. I have all of those records and even the original discharge certificate. I was the first one to get a title for the vehicle which means it has a clean title so you could get it licensed for the road. The next thing that will be written on its history is that you purchased this historic vehicle and will enjoy many years of making history with it yourself.

This truck comes with its original battery box as well that is not pictured although the actual batteries are not included.
