Stunning classic Fiat 500 Lusso in its original dark blue 456 aka 'Mafia Blue' colour with original red vinyl interior. LHD. Driven over from the Italian Lakes region and UK registered in 2000. The last 'revisione' (Italian MOT) blue sticker is still on the windscreen and expired in 1998.

Owned by me for almost ten years. During this time it has been carefully recommissioned to its current excellent condition. A full body restoration and windows out respray was undertaken in 2007 by Classic Motor Company of Sussex. Original twin cylinder air cooled rear mounted 499cc engine in excellent order. Upgraded synchromesh gearbox. It is a fine driving example; very easy to drive and perfectly suited to nipping about town.   An insulated carpet underlay has also been fitted.

Full MOT and tax is free. It has most recently had four brand new 125 r12 Pirelli Cinturato tyres fitted. Everything works as it should. even the illusive hand throttle! Brakes. electrics. suspension. fuel system etc are all in excellent order. No expense has been spared over the years and most major items have either been replaced or refurbished (eg: new dynamo. regulator. starter motor. brake cylinders. handbrake/clutch/throttle cables. track rod ends. exhaust. sunroof. battery. carb rebuild. fuel lines etc). The floors and arches are all solid and undersealed. I'm sure it would take you (and maybe even 3 good friends) anywhere (eventually!) and still return 60+mpg.   Runs fine on unleaded.

The original rare grey plastic tool case. jack. and an essential travel pack of spare points. dizzy cap. rotor arm. fan belt. and condenser. all included.

Magazine featured.

It isn't quite 100% perfect. There are some small paint imperfections if you search hard and the usual light pitting to the Italian chrome. The interior is nicely worn (a couple of small nicks to the seats and a little wear to the blue carpeting). Personally I like an old car to show some patina and I think this little Fiat oozes charm. I can't remember the last time it went out in the rain. It lives in a dry garage. Unfortunately I rarely get a chance to use it these days.

Dealers are currently asking between £10. 00-12. 00 for top examples. I have factored the aforementioned imperfections into my asking price. I would imagine prices will only head up in future.

If you are serious then I'm sure you'll want to come and take a good look and go for a spin. I'm located near central Brighton very close to the mainline railway station up to London. All viewings welcome. most times should be fine given notice.

Please no speculative 'what's your best price' type offers/enquiries via email without first having viewed.

Thanks.
