That iconic custom classic GTO "The Monkeemobile" styling by Dean Jeffries for sale
Current customer rating:
First. a little history: Hollywood automotive stylist. Dean Jeffries. created one of his most iconic designs. "The Monkeemobile" in preparation for the 60's Monkees television show.
Dean only built two Monkeemobiles. but as a precaution pulled a set of molds off one of those two original cars. In later years. the builder of this car Eric Sharp. a long time associate of Dean's. purchased those molds. And this Monkeemobile was born.
Eric purchased and incorporated in this car many parts from the #2 show car which were removed during it's restoration. These include the Cragar rims. ash parts and gauges. The odometer now shows 11. 49 miles. only four thousand of which. were put on since the gauge cluster was installed in this build. This car. as did the two originals. has that legendary
non
functional 671 blower and
fully
functional side exhaust pipes. with cut outs to a rear exhaust system. Wait til you hear those side pipes roar!!!
The second and third pictures show Dean Jeffries with Eric in front of his Hollywood shop. as Dean goes over this build personally. before the finishing touches. logos etc. were added. The fourth picture shows the autograph from Dean on the glove box. although as I watched him sign it. Dean did misspell "Monkeemobile". Never the less it's the signature of the "Master Stylist".
Since 2008 there have been four Monkeemobile sales with prices ranging between $65. 00 to $350. 00.
With another project in the works. I have priced this rare Dean Jeffries approved Monkeemobile replica for a quick sale. I will consider any reasonable offer. Don't miss the chance to own a piece of automotive and television history.

Comments and questions to the seller:
from Anna , dated 25 september 2018Hey Rick!
Bit of a strange request but i'm currently looking for some archive photos of the Monkee Mobile car as we want to talk about George Barris and amazing example of his work. Could we have permission to use your photos in our programme please?
All the best,
Anna
