1961 Triumph TR3 for Sale 1961 Triumph TR3A For Sale Buy This Classic 1961 Triumph Same owner since late '70s. Purchased from Florida. Stored Winters Since. Recently taken out of a 15-year hibernation. Rare color combintion. Overdrive Transmission. Starts and Runs Great!

This is a 1961 Triumph TR3 for sale from Sunset Classics in Minneapolis MN. These cars are fast and fun. and finding an original example is always very exciting. This car was purchased from Florida in the late '70s and it has been stored every winter since coming to Minnesota. For the past 15 years the car has been in hibernation. and recently it was brought to life again. It now starts right up and it runs great. This isn't something you would want to jump in and drive across the Country. but it's a very honest car that would be a great base for a restoration. It's a complete car and nearly everything works and is accounted for. The overdrive transmission works in every gear. The tail lights work though the headlights do not. But the car starts. shifts and drives smoothly.

The original convertible top and tonneau cover come with the car. The door panels and seats look to be original. The current owner had the car painted once in the late '80s. The original color is the striking and desirable white over read.

The current owner found this car in Florida. The previous owner purchased the car from a Sergeant who brought the car to the United States from England. The current owner purchased the car from Florida and then drove it up to Minnesota. The current owner didn't put many miles on it over the years. Other than one trip to Bismarck. ND. the car was enjoyed sparingly and mostly it was just driven around town.

For the past 15 years or so. the car has been off the road in dry storage. Recently the carburetors were cleaned and a new battery was installed. and with a few other tweaks and repairs the car now starts and runs great.

I sell Worldwide and I can help arrange shipping. Have a look through the photos in the photo gallery below. enjoy the videos of the car starting. running and driving. and let me know if you would like to reserve this 1961 Triumph TR3A we have for Sale!
