1965 SUPERFORMANCE MKIII COBRA, SHELBY, FORD 427, ONE OF ONE BUILD for sale
Current customer rating:
For sale is my 1965 Superformance MKIII Cobra.
If you are reading this ad I will not waste your time with the education part of a Superformance Cobra. I will just give the facts of the vehicle. Lets start by saying that a nagging back injury is the only reason I would even consider selling the car because it puts a smile on my face every time I drive it.
The vin # is SPO 3035.
Miles at listing is 3800. about 1300 per year.
Just was fully serviced with all new fluids and ignition.
From my understanding this is a one of one Superformance Cobra with a special ordered interior color and Roush paint scheme.
The engine is an FE 1966 Ford big block built by Southern Automotive of GA.
These guys don't screw around. there engines are simply the best of the best! Built to look and preform just like the original Cobra.
Engine was built for todays fuels and preforms perfectly under any condition. around town or making your passengers scream! Trans is the incredible Tremec TKO 600 with hydraulic clutch for super easy shifting.
It is my understanding this was one of the most expensive builds for that year. todays car would be in the 90 K area.
Any other questions will be answered by phone only. typing stinks!
BOTTOM LINE
This is a serious performance vehicle for serious people! This Cobra is for sale for a fair price in todays market place.
A Superformance of this caliber today would cost 90+K. this one will be selling for tens of thousands less.
As mentioned this car is for sale serious offers will be discussed by phone only. no silly games. or let the auction run or etc. etc.
Also I will not babble on about e Bay's silly rules about a binding contract. for everyone's interest e Bay is just a listing company. My name is Tim and my phone number is .
The car has a clean title and the best news is it is titled as a 1965 Cobra for those states with collector plates. The Boss (my wife) says I'm easy to talk with so you know that's a good sign.
Concluding - built to match what Carol Shelby did in 1965 this Superformanc Cobra is simply the best. factory built. well designed and as close as one can get without spending a Million.
e Bay makes me put a reserve on the car. but as mentioned its for sale - give me a call - thanks Tim - again please no emails - Im just an old guy who doesn't mind phone calls -
