The Superformance Mk III is a replica of the third generation 427 Shelby Cobra and is available in both semi-competition and street roadster body styles. The SPF Mk III makes up the bulk of the company's sales. The SPF Mk III is also one of the few Shelby Cobra replicas built under license from Carroll Shelby. In this way a Mk III can have a stable "factory" build quality and also be personalized by its owner/completion company.

The last Cobra to be built under license from Carroll Shelby. The Mk III differs from most other Cobra replicas as being of 100% new parts and not decades old rebuilt items. The current Mk III (late 2007+ production) uses Wilwood disk brakes and a Dana rear end assembly. Other major components are off-the-shelf parts of various new OEM manufacturers. The Mk III enjoys a loyal and helpful owners network that communicate in various internet forums/clubs providing user-to-user technical support and suggestions. The Mk III car was featured in an article in the September 2008 issue of Classic Motorsports magazine.

The SPF Mk III is the next best thing to a real Cobra and at a fraction of the cost. the quality is second to none and it is the last Cobra built under license from Carroll Shelby. This example has covered just 345 miles and is as new.

Hi,
I wish to enquire about your Cobra, just a few questions .is the car for sale ,if so how many owners , is the car registered as a classic period 1965 cobra
,what condition and details of the engine.
General condition of the tyres ,suspension bodywork
I am interested in purchasing a superformance but it must be the right one.
