All the glass is number plate etched and the supplying dealer number plates are fitted front and rear. A very clean engine bay proudly displays the manufacturer's information plates and stickers. INTERIOR
The driver-orientated ergonomically designed interior showcases exemplary craftsmanship. The cloth upholstery sports seats trimmed in Natural Cloth (code 0283) are flawless and a testament to the fastidious ownership and very low mileage this example has enjoyed. The immaculate driver inclined dashboard proudly displays the Alpina Dash Board Plaque reminding the driver of engineering excellence. Additional Alpina symbols remain in place including the green Alpina tyre pressure sticker on the door shut. the Alpina door sills and Alpina revolution gauge logo. Tiny cuts to the driver door card can be seen where the seatbelt buckle has been caught between the door and card. Dealer fit accessories including the Blaupunkt stereo at a cost of £793 and a NEC telephone with headset. (£690). remain in situ. A complete unused toolkit is correctly housed inside the boot lid. The supplying dealer tax disc holder remains in the screen as does the dealer rear window sticker. Magnificent.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The seemingly endless reserves of power across the entire rev range give a clue how special this authentic conversion is. The six cylinder in-line 3430cc produces 260bhp at 5700rpm with a maximum torque of 330Nm. Many Alpina enhancements including the light Mahle cast pistons. modified cylinder head. a high performance camshaft and a re-mapped Bosch Motronic engine management system elevate this power plant into a high performance category with uncompromising quality. WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
Specially developed ultra-light weight Alpina alloy wheels with lockable light alloy die-cast covers are shod in matching Michelin Pilot SX 235/45 R17 tyres up front and 265/40 R17 tyres at the rear. The Alpina centre badges have small chips and the alloys have some minor touched-up marks. The brakes are powerful. well weighted. and have a reassuringly firm pedal feel.

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on the 1st August 1989 by John Clark (Aberdeen) Limited to The Rt. Hon The Earl of Seafield who was the custodian for the next 17 years. A history file reveals correspondence with the Earl detailing the specification and when the car arrived at Sytners for the B10 conversion costing a phenomenal £11. 00 + VAT! All the possible options were specified and cost £44. 72. 43 as revealed on the original purchase invoice. A further two enthusiasts have enjoyed the vehicle. the previous being an Alpina advocate with three other examples amongst his BMW collection. This special Alpina remained with him for seven years. A letter from Sytner dated 17th January 2006 confirms the build specification and forms part of a comprehensive history file with service invoices. old MOT's and various literature. The original BMW A5 wallet neatly houses all the handbooks. stamped service book. radio guides and point of sale literature. All factory supplied keys are present and even the Emergency Service card proudly displaying Lord Seafield!
