I've had a few questions so here are some answers:
Speedo reads 122000 km. I have the last 7 mot's and it has only done 40. 00 Km's during this period. I have no history from his life in Japan. but most Japanese imports tend to be low mileage.
The car has no seat wear and very good carpets. which suggests to me that the mileage could be correct. but the car is 25 years old so no guarantee's.
Bodywork: The paint all looks original factory paint apart from the two rear sills are a slightly different shade. where they must have been painted in the past. A very small amount of surface rust is visable on the drivers door shut and sills.
Underside has never had any welding and is extremely good condition for a car of this age.
No advisories on last weeks mot.
Front wings and bonnet are plastic so would not suffer.
Paintwork has a couple of scuffs. to be expected. but are hardly noticeable.
There is one dent on the rear quarter just behind the drivers door handle. but with no paint damage. which a dent technician would be able to remove.
Sunroof: Sunroof has just had a new skin fitted as the old one had shrunk and unfortunately the motor is no longer working so the roof has been converted to manually open. with toggle catches to lock shut.
Can be opened and closed within seconds.
