Current customer rating: current rating for this car(4.1) based on 380 votes
The Triumph TR 6 has often been considered a junior E-Type with tough good looks and gutsy performance. It was even declared to be the "Ultimate Bloke's Car" by one James May. This beautiful black 1974 Triumph TR 6 has recently been restored and features many sensible upgrades to enhance the looks and performance. It is totally rust free. has beautiful black paint and a rebuilt engine running on twin downdraft Weber carburetors.

Highlights Include:

Gorgeous black paint New biscuit leather interior

Matching hard top

4-speed with Overdrive

Wide 70-spoke chrome wire wheels

Twin Weber carburetors

Rebuilt engine

Impeccably serviced by marque experts

This is a turnkey TR 6 that really stands out from the crowd. The black paint over biscuit leather is very attractive and is set off perfectly by the widened chrome wire wheels. The non-original colors may not be concours correct but it is certainly concours quality in terms of cosmetic and mechanical condition - as well as being an outstanding driver.

It has been thoroughly inspected by the British car specialists at Brainerd's Garage and given a clean bill of health. We wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere – it's the perfect machine for a long weekend tour or rally. There are very few flaws. the only really notable one being a small scar on the vinyl top where it was pinched by the frame. Other than that. it is ready to drive and show. The car is located in Branford. CT and is available for viewing by appointment. Please contact Geoff Isabelle at
