SELLING MY 1960 FORD CONSUL HOTROD

The specs of the car is from the previous owner.

All steel body with door key holes smoothed over. rear halfed and mini tubbed to accomodate 10 x 15" cragar drag lite wheels all fabrication work carried out by REALITY HOTRODS in the mid nineties.

Volvo disc brake back axle on chrome ladder bars narrowed by Hauser racing fitted with 3. 73 gears. moser shafts and Detroit Trutrac atb diff and new calipers and coilovers

Front crossmember modified from 2. 8 Capri with bilstein coilovers power steering rack vented discs and calipers front wheels 6 x 15 cragar drag lites

Remote electric front brake lock out

Engine 350 chevy cast No 3970010 high nickel block standard bore 2 bolt main (don't let them fool you 2 bolt main engines are still good for 7000 rpm the weak spot on chevy's is the rods not the bottom end!)

Eagle Esp 4340 forged crankshaft

Scat I-beam forged connecting rods safe to 750 hp

Speed pro (TRW) forged pistons with teflon skirts 9. 5-1 cr

Arp Main. connecting and head bolts

Melling high volume high pressure oil pump with hardened drive shaft 80 psi pressure above 2500 rpm minimum 25 psi hot at idle

Chrome big wing sump with anti surge trap doors

Mocal sandwich plate with 16 row mocal oil cooler

Cloyes true roller timing set

Comp cams Magnum 286 h single pattern street strip cam . 490/490. 286 deg dur . 50

Holley 3310 vac secondary 750 cfm carburettor with re-usable float bowl gaskets and quick change secondary spring kit carb new last year

Stainless steel fuel tank fitted with Mallory 110 gph electric fuel pump

Alloy water pump with flex fan connected to alloy radiator with supplementory 16" electric manually operated fan

Mallory unilite electronic distributer with Mallory Hyfire cdi ignition box and blaster ss coil

Engine has only done 2500 miles since built

Really nice strong engine with an amazing lopey idle

TCI Streetfighter Th 350 auto standard pattern rock solid same mileage as engine

B&m floor mounted shifter

Door locks work from inside but should really have a central locking kit fitted for security (never bothered me)

Cragar drag lite alloy wheels 6 x 15 front with continental 185-65-15 rear 10 x 15 drag lites with 295-50-15 hercules only a few hundred miles

CAR IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. NO RUST ANYWHERE AND NO WELDING UNDERNEATH (APART FROM THE STRENTHENING AND REAR HALVING) BUT PLEASE REMEMBER IT IS 53 YEARS OLD THERE ARE STILL A FEW THINGS NEEDING DOING (CARPET. CENTRAL LOCKING AND FRONT CALIPERS ARE STARTING TO SIEZE DUE TO LACK OF USE)
