Relisted due to a nightmare buyer. Please only bid if you are actually willing to turn up and purchase! Any viewing ahead of this is recommended.Here is my lovely 1966 1300 Twin Port Beetle for sale. This car was restored by a previous owner (documented), and I've continued to develop it and enjoy it.The body is in fabulous condition, it has new heater channels, rear quarters, rear hangers, front wheelwell, 4 wings and painted underneath in 2 pack. The chassis has had new floors and a complete braking system including slave cylinders all round, shoes gearbox mounts. The 1300 twin port engine is in excellent condition with new seals, clutch, pushrods and running well. Currently running 12 v with an up rated alternator. Running a 009 Distributor. All electrics work as they should. I also have the original 1200 engine I got with the car that is also running (I have a video of it running) that is available by separate negotiation. Car is currently running slight Cal look tyres 155/15 front Pirellis and 165/15 Michelin XZXs rear. All period correct, and great on the road.It has an adjustable front beam although it is currently only lowered about an inch it could be much lower if desired.The interior is excellent, seats and carpets look great and a retro fit period pattern curtain as a headlining. Its very unique and looks great.The car is not a show winner, the wheels are good but could be better. Recommended viewing.Car is located in Doncaster.
