VW Karmann Ghia 1972 LHD Coupe 2 Door Excellent Condition
This left hand drive. two door. VW Karmann Ghia coupe is in excellent condition.
I purchased it four years ago when it was partially restored and have spent a lot of time finishing it to an extremely high standard.
The orangey/red paint job is professionally finished. the 1200 cc engine is in great shape. as is the gearbox. clutch and running gear.
I have replaced all the brake pipes. brake cylinders. pads. shoes and tyres.
The bumpers have been replaced as have the window rubbers. head cloth. seat coverings and carpet.
The car is now in excellent trouble-free condition. perfect for using. and regularly participates in local classic runs. exhibitions and pleasure jaunts.
It is a stunning classic car and a real HEAD TURNER!
I don't know the history of the car but I believe that it was first exported to Italy before being imported to the UK.
The car comes with a full years Northern Ireland MOT (much more stringent testing than GB) and a years Tax (tax is free for this car).
Things that the new owner may wish to look at include -
- The speedometer is in MPH and works fine but the milometer does not record
- There is a small thumb size hole in the headlining
- The dashboard could do with some light tidying up
The car is located about 10 miles outside Belfast and I would highly recommend viewing.
Delivery to the UK and Ireland may be arranged.
The car is advertised elsewhere and I reserve the right to withdraw it from the auction.
