Jaguar MK2 1965 2.4 Manual Overdrive Opalescent Light Blue Mark II MK II for sale
Current customer rating:
Jaguar Mark II 1965 2. 4 Manual Overdrive in opalescent pale blue metallic
My father-in-law is selling his beloved Jaguar Mark II which he has owned for the last 7 years and has used regularly at the weekends (usually only in dry weather!). He is sadly selling due to storage no longer available near his home. For the last 7 years the car has been under a cover as well as a shelter to protect it from the elements.
First registered on 1 st May 1965. bought by my father in law 7 years ago in Birmingham and has got two previous owners recorded. Additional paperwork goes back to the green log book.
This is a part restored car and over the years has had the following work done: Wood work has been restored by the previous owner Paint work totally resprayed to a high standard by the previous owner Brakes have been overhauled approximately 3 years ago Front suspension has been rebuilt approximately 6 years ago Chrome wired wheels fitted 6 years ago at the cost of 1500 (still have original 4 wheels in the garage to go with the car)Additionally. the car has the following:6 Months MOT (no issues for concern noted at last MOT - it shows it is free from any major corrosion - detailed MOT)All instruments working with exception from the clock Overdrive fully working Original radio working Original dark blue genuine leather has no rips (obviously. there is some general wear and tear as to be expected with a car of this age)Apart from rear exhaust box. the exhaust is stainless steel Body work is sound Operating manual and previous maintenance documents available.
The car is tax exempt.
The mileage is showing 38. 00. We have no reason to believe that this is not a genuine mileage but can not guarantee this. (My father in law has done 8. 00 miles in the car the previous owner had done approximately 2. 00 miles).
Please note. the front carpets need replacing.
Please remember that this is an unrestored car. which has been looked after and loved by both my father-in-law and the previous owners to keep it in the lovely condition it is in today (as shown in the pictures)
As I am selling on behalf of my father-in-law. if you have any questions. would like any further pictures/would like to see the car please let me know and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Collection only from Norwich. Norfolk. Payment on collection preferred.
Thanks for looking.
