Seller's notes: "Door trim is intact although dry and cracking. Very few scratches in door material. Back seats have minor seam separation in two spots. Front seats have tears in material but comes with seat covers. Flooring material is wearing away quickly. Comes with non-stock floor mats. Internal plastic wheel well coverings are cracking and falling apart. Rear defrost is barely working although it seems to be getting the proper voltage. The speedometer cable needs to be replaced (I have the part and may update the listing to show that I've installed the new cable). The turn signal relay is a bit touchy and will randomly switch between fast and slow signal speeds due to slight mismatch with the currently available replacement part."

This car has been a real pleasure to drive and maintain for the last three years. I bought it hoping that I would have the time to put in a 5 speed transmission and maybe even a new motor. Money and time never lined up with the project. I used it as an occasional around the town driver. I bought the car in California. brought it to Oregon in 2013. It passed smog fine and has current registration through 2015 with the upgraded pacific wonderland plates.

Original motor. original carb. Smokes a little on startup occasionally but it doesn't burn through oil very fast and the compression seems to be holding steady for the past three years as an inner city driver. Previous owner replaced distributor cap and cables. I have replaced the fuel pump. water pump. ignition coil. washer pump. spark plugs. tires. timing points. various conditioners. and fuel filter. everything else is original. A new cv boot kit has been installed recently with repacked/greased bearings. It needs a new speedometer cable installed which I have. I can either put it in for you or you can take the parts and do with it what you will.
There is a small amount of rust on the body and a handful of small dents. May need a paint job in the next few years due to normal wear of aging paint.

I also have some extra parts and things that will go with the car; timing belt. head gasket. various rings and seals. full replacement of dash gauges. tire chains.

Window trim is all intact. Door trim is intact although dry and cracking with small gaps in a few places notice the photo of the worst spot. Very few scratches in door material. Chipped paint on inside of drivers door. Back seats have minor seam separation in one spot (repairable with basic sewing). Front seats have tears in material but comes with seat covers. Flooring material is wearing away quickly. Comes with non stock floor mats. Internal plastic wheel well coverings are cracking and falling apart (notice photo). Rear defrost is only slightly working after considerable warm up time. although it seems to be getting the proper voltage (not sure how to fix this). I just installed new points. spark plugs. and a distributor conditioner. cleaned the distributor vacuum and set the timing. The speedometer cable needs to be replaced (I have the part and may update the listing to show that I've installed the new cable). The turn signal relay is a bit touchy and will randomly switch between fast and slow signal speed. I believe this is due to a slight incompatibility with the currently available replacement relay. I sort of like the fast signal speed.

Please message me with any questions (I'll be backpacking for a few days while this auction is going so if I don't respond right away just wait a few days and I'll get back to you at least a couple days before the auction ends). I tried to take pictures of everything that seems important. Perhaps the pictures focus on the little issues a bit too much but you'll get an idea overall condition of the car. This is a great car. It runs really good right now and is getting great mpg. I'd guess 32 around town. 34 highway.
