I am selling a stock 1925 Dodge Brothers 4 door Touring sedan that was originally to be sold locally at a dealer in Salem Virginia. The dealer had stored the car at a local garage after it did not sell and was forgotten until the Garage owner attempted to retrieve his back storage fees.  The Dodge dealer didn't pay the fees and the garage owner kept the car up until approximately 20 years ago when the owner died and one of the sons sold it before giving any of the other family members a chance to buy it. Of course this is the story told to me about 6 months ago from one of the brothers whose fathers family had originally owned it.  I have owned this car for three years and would like to buy a Porsche 914 so this car will have to go to make room and to pay for the new car. I had the car tagged as a daily driver up until November of last year.  My family enjoyed using it to different places so I turned in the antique tags for regular tags. both kids are a little older now. my son is almost 17 and my daughter is 12 going on 27 if you know what I mean. Me and the wife enjoy riding and I always wanted a 914 so it was time to move on. This car still gets a lot of smiles and and waves from everyone. I have done a lot work putting this back to as close to stock as possible. Plugs. wires. and plug wire holder have been replaced. Water pump seals repacked. generator brushes replaced. carburetor and fuel pump rebuilt and the radiator was also re-cored. The transmission was rebuilt last year. all new bearings. seals. and 600W gear oil. The clutch was also rebuilt at the same time. New friction plates. wear plates. and guide pins. The u-joints need attention but I haven't come up with a sure fire way and Im not sure how to rebuild them. I will include some spare parts I have gathered that will someday be helpful for someone.  My son and I also scrubbed the engine by hand and re-painted it back to its original color. All of the lights on the car are in good working order. Some on before me has replaced the headlight single pin socket with a double pin socket so it has high and low beam lights. The tires are in really good shape with plenty of tread left on them. The vinyl on top looks to be in good shape no rips or holes. The paint is old. Im not sure if it is original or not. with a lot of elbow grease it cleans up but nowhere near a mirror shine. The area right in front of the drivers side door has been wrinkled and someone tried to straighten it back out. The rear passenger door looks like it had swung open hard and put a dent in the door right at the hinge.  The interior. I'm not sure the interior is original or not. I believe the upholstery is called mohair. not to sure. feels like a really coarse velvet. Please look closely at the photos for it condition and please ask questions before bidding. I am posting a walk around video on you tube. check out the link below. To give you an idea of the video. The engine will be started cold with the choke pulled and the distributor fully advanced. You will notice a small exhaust leak. right around the manifold and tail pipe.   I will try to video the floor board vin number. the car isn't titled off of the floor board vin. it is titled against the engine.  I will try my best to describe the car but I doubt I will be able to catch every flaw. If you have questions or would like better photos of certain areas let me know and I will get them to you. Due to the age of the car it is being sold as is with no warranty. A non-refundable deposit is required through PayPal within 24 hours of the auctions end and the remainder to be received within 5 business days. I am flexible whether it is a cashiers check or a personal check. cash if your picking the car up in person. I cant accept PayPal for the whole payment due to the outrageous fees they charge unless we make prior arrangements.  If the deposit isn't received within 24 hours of the auctions closing I will relist the car and file for a non paying bidder alert with eBay.

Again. Please ask questions. I will try to satisfy any request. answer any and all questions as quickly and truthfully as possible. The time to ask questions isn't after the auction.

Link to YouTube video After watching the video I have decided to try to take another video. I will post a link when I up load it.

I forgot to add some other information about the car. When I rebuilt the transmission I had the transmission lock re-keyed to work with the door lock key.
