1965 Oldsmobile 442 4 Speed, Tripower Coupe, Recently Resored for sale
Current customer rating:
This is a beautifully restored 65 Olds 442 4 Speed Coupe. The 400 ci engine was completely rebuilt by Reeds Automotive. It was bored 30 over reassembled and balanced with
all new parts. including . larger valves. and special camshaft to accommodate the completely rebuilt 66 Tri power set up. The original intake and rebuilt carb is also available.
The Munci Transmission and stock 355 Posi rear end was checked and resealed. The stock shifter was replaced with a new Hurst Competition Plus for smooth shifting.
The clutch and pressure plate are heavy duty. but not overwhelming. The power drum brakes were replaced with Power slotted Discs with a dual master cylinder.
This 442 came equipped with power steering to make her drive like a dream. The car has only a few hundred miles since the restoration. just completed break-in.
The complete nose. all glass. the dash and all chrome was removed to repair only minor rust and paint with single stage 2012 GM Victory Red. The complete interior was replaced
including all panels. handles. lights. seals. carpet and headliner. A new stereo was added and 4 speakers. It comes with later 15" SST rims and new tires. This car drives
awesome with immense power and no rattles. knocks and very little wind noise. The Turbo mufflers give it a distinctive but not overwhelming sound.
The chrome and Stainless is excellent but not quite show quality as there is minor pitting on the console and the bumpers are wearing in spots. The rear chrome panel is NOS
