1919 Classic Original Oldsmobile Model 37A, 5-passenger Touring Car for sale

Rare original survivor. runs & drives great.
Perfect for restoration or can be maintained and driven in current condition.
Inline 6-cylinder engine. 177 cid. 44 hp. overhead valve arrangement with external valve train.
Full pressure oiling to 3-main bearing crankshaft.
Leather-faced cone clutch. three-speed manual transmission and closed driveline.
Brakes are external band-type on rear axle only. with an internal shoe-type emergency brake.
Car
was stored in a rodent-proof. but unheated private collection for decades.
so wood framing is good and sheet metal undamaged except for surface
rust.
Absolutely straight fenders.
no cracks.
Original
glass with no cracks.
Top
bows are included. will need new wood for the bows. but the metal frame fits the car.
Hickory
wheels are straight and tight. rims and 32 x 4 tires are good.
Wheel wedges and lug nuts newly zinc
coated.
Front
suspension and steering box have been rebuilt
New
walnut dashboard was custom built and installed
All
original instruments work—odometer indicates less than 23. 00 miles
Switches
rebuilt and all wiring replaced.
Original 6-volt negative ground Remy electrical system was retained
Headlight
rims and reflectors have been restored and nickel plated
Generator.
starter. and water pump have been rebuilt
Oil
pan removed. cleaned & sealed. and oil pump lines and screen repaired
New
gas tank made using original fittings
New
Zenith carburetor and concealed electric fuel pump and pressure
regulator.
Original (NOS) Stewart
vacuum tank remains for appearances only Has a clear Arkansas title
