up for auction a 1974 ford maverick race car. car came into the country was never raced properly it ran 11 s in the states and a novice driver drove it once in the uk it ran a 12 it now has a v 5 log book in my name so you can drive on road if you wanted to. Am willing to sell engine/ box only ring email for details
when i bought this car it had a blown gearbox and was not uk registered . The car is now uk registered has mot till may this year currently on sorn. I had to sort out the wiring/ lights etc to make street legal ish new hooisers/ exhaust work etc etc so if you want you can drive on the street specs of car custom built in the us imported in 08 registered by me in 2013 v 5 present in my name ford windsor 393 ci stroker race motor 450 hp forged pistons and rods big valve heads 10. 1 compression comp cam solid race cam and lifters/ roller rockers/ edelbrock victor jr inlet/ 750 dual feed holley/ mallory ignition/ hi torque mini starter/ electric drive water pump /big flow ally radiator/ big oil pan. 2 speed manual valve body powerglide with heavy duty internals/ 3500 stall converter and trans brake/ big trans cooler all brand new fully rebuilt at great cost in 2013. B and m shifter narrowed 9 inch rear spool 456 gears strange shafts 31 splines on ladder bars and coil overs. All steel shell back halved tubbed out 10 point cage/ race seat/shift light/extra gauges/ harnesses/ fuel cell/electric line lock/ weld draglites wheels all ready to go just serviced again just get in might have odd mark on body work it is 1974 remember but no rust issues in contact with the original builder in the us was rust free shell to start with no expense spared just check out all the reciepts they add up to double figures any more imfo just email or ring me on 0 real good low reserve you couldnt build it for this price any test welcome nothing to hide geninue reason for selling deposit or £100 within 48 hrs the rest is cash on collection within 7 days unless arranged otheirwise LIKE I SAID ABOVE IF NO INTEREST IM WILLING TO SELL ENGINE COMPLETE WITH GEARBOX SEPARATE ADVERTISED ELSEWHERE CAN REMOVE AT ANYTIME
