1958 OG VW RAGTOP for sale

Here is a beautiful numbers matching patina 1958 OG ragtop. with no rust and lots of documentation. I am the 4 th owner. but the original owner from San Diego California owned it until 2008. This is a numbers matching ragtop with the original 36 hp engine and crashbox transmission. rebuilt by the previous owner in 2012. She had one repaint in the original diamond grey back in 1972( I have the original receipt from a shop in San diego). The paint is fading in some places with some small scratches. but the patina is what I love about her( my plan was never to repaint her). The paint on the inside is still all original. The seat covers and the headliner where also replaced in 1972. but the og seat covers are under the newer one's(also have the original receipt). The door panels are all original and still look good. The passenger and driver seats are original Huls recliners. very rare(they recline into a small bed). She also sports a folding og shifter. The 6 v electrical system works great including the og radio. dome light. og light under the hood. fog light. rear single brake light and etc. She has a 6" narrowed beam from Oldspeed running nitrogen shocks in the front and air shocks in the rear. The best driving lowered bug that I have ever owned! She has front and rear disc brakes from CB and Empi fuchs 4. 5" front and 5. 5" rear with new tires. The og roof rack will be included with the sale. I really love this ragtop. but with twin daughters and two dogs I don't use her much. . I have a full folder of documentation from 1960 till now. with most of the registration papers and repair receipts. I also have documents from the Volkswagen Auto Museum stating that it's a numbers matching ragtop with original engine. I'm sure I forgot some things. so any questions that you might have let me know. Good Luck!
