Classic Motor Carriage 1965 Shelby Cobra replica. This Cobra was built with the intention of showing it and driving it. The showing of the Cobra has been a crowd attractor at the many car shows it has been driven to. and the proof is in the abundance of trophies it has received. The heart of this Cobra is the 1987 Ford GT engine block that was built with a competition CAM (RPM 2500-6500) TRW-L-2249 pistons producing a compression ration of 10. 75.
Electronic fuel pump (measured in gallons per hour). Holley 750 cfm four barrel Double Pumper carburetor. Tremec five speed transmission. Independent suspension 1984 Corvette rear end. Goodyear Eagle F 1 P 255/50 ZR 16 rear tires w/Hilliard Cobra wheels. Goodyear Earle F 1 225/50 ZR 16 front tires w/Hilliard Cobra Wheels.
Fully adjustable coil over racing shock absorbers.
Mural painted to the underside of the hood of a “warrior”.
Remotely activated alarm system was incorporated into the build that shuts off the fuel supply and electronics.
The Smith dash mounted gauges are easy to read and provide the information necessary. The AM/FM radio. Adjustable steering column has been added topped with a wood wrapped Cobra steering wheel. The entire Cobra is in exceptional condition and premier operational capability. I am the second owner having purchased this Cobra from the estate of the original owner.
