Motoe Xotica Classic Cars is pleased to present this top of the line. desirable 1960 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible. This particular Cadillac comes from a private collection. This convertible was driven mainly to promotional appearances and it is one of ONLY 1. 85 EVER built! The Eldorado Biarritz Convertible was the most elegant of the 13 Cadillac models issued in three series.

This particular Cadillac is from the 4 th generation of Eldorado. The luxury line of 1960 Cadillac had smoother and more restrained styling. The general changes included a full width grill. lower tailfins and front fender mounted directional indicator lamps.

This is an outstanding Biarritz and would make an exceptional investment vehicle or addition to any collection. The laser straight body is finished in Lucerne Blue (Code 94) and has been repainted in the past. The paint shows well. has a good luster and has some minor blemishes … most notable with a 4-5” scratch on the hood. The chrome is in beautiful shape as well and retains a spectacular gleam. The car looks fantastic! The glass is the factory correct E-Z Eye with the blue tine (Accessory Code E). The correct white vinyl top is newer and comes down effortlessly at the flip of a switch. It also comes with a highly sought after. body matching. fiberglass parade boot that fits snug on the exterior. The iconic bullet grille is a great detail of this Cadillac and compliments the straight body and nostalgic tail fins. The car sits elegantly on four Cadillac wheels wrapped in L 78-15 wide whitewall Dunlop tires.

The interior is finished in the correct blue leather (Trim Code 13) that is believed to be original. Both the power windows and top work well. The highlight of the interior is the autronic eye a feature introduced by Cadillac 1952. to automatically dim the headlights to the correct beam as traffic. weather and road conditions changed. The dashboard and gauges appear to be original and in excellent shape. Overall. the interior shows very well and is lovely.

Under the hood. the massive 390 cubic inch Cadillac V 8 engine powers the Biarritz. The engine is mated with a 4-speed Hydramatic automatic transmission. The Hydramatic transmission was just professionally rebuilt and drives like a dream! This massive rear wheel drive luxury Cadillac is also equipped with cruise control.
