1962 International Scout 80 - AWESOME CONDITION

This 1962 International Scout 80 has been transformed into a n ultimate

cruise and play vehicle.

With an extensive mechanical and cosmetic upgrade. it is an up scale . dependable ride.

s part of the upgrade process. a coat of copper base coat / clear coat was applied for great looks and easy maintenance.

The interior was done in black bed liner.

The bucket and rear back seat s

are black vinyl.

custom black canvas top by

was installed which makes open air cruising a quick. convenient option.

For sound. a custom Alpine stereo system with removable faceplate and Bluetooth (with amplifier) is connected to a Bazooka speaker system.

On the mechanical side. every area was addressed.

• Engine :

The original. low power 4 cylinder has been replaced with an International V 8.

The

International

304 was rebuilt and has less than 500 miles on it.

Drivetrain :

The transfer case and transmission was serviced and universal joints replaced where needed.

A new clutch. pressure plate and hydraulic slave cylinder was installed.

•

Exhaust:

A new 2” exhaust system. muffler. and chrome exhaust tip was installed.

•

Cooling : A new aluminum radiator from Champion was installed along with a new water pump. thermostat housing and a 180 thermostat.

•

Fuel :

Dual tanks with the original type tank switch installed next to the driver's seat.

The tanks are new when new fuel lines and electric fuel pump.

A new 4 b Holley 500 CFM carburetor delivers the fuel to the engine.

•

Tires:

Five new Goodyear Wrangler Kevlar 31 x 10. 5 tires are installed on factory style steel wheels.

•

Brakes :

The brake system was updated with new hard lines. rubber lines. wheel cylinders and brake shoes. The brakes work well.

•

Electrical :

An upgrade wiring harness has been installed.

The windshield wipers have been upgraded from the original vacuum type to electric for improved safety.

Additionally. a windshield washer option was added.

All electrical components work.

** Vehicle will be sold with GA Bill of Sale. The GA DMW does NOT issue titles for vehicles older than 1962. However. I do have the title from when I purchased the vehicle from the previous owner that will be given as proof of ownership history as well.
