Classic trucks are the best of everything in my opinion. and in the case of this amazing C10 Fleetside. they can do it all. and do it well.

This truck was lovingly restored and rebuilt to be the perfect toy. and you can take it to a car show in town or in the next State. have fun cruising the main drag. take it to the local track. or use it as your daily driver. all while enjoying the comforts of A/C. PS. PB. and a custom audio system.

DESCRIPTION

Sometimes in my search for the nicest classic cars and trucks. I come across one that is so well-built. sorted out. and clean that I think about just buying it myself. until my lovely Bride reminds me that I can’t! This is one of those vehicles. and I hope someone can appreciate it as much as I do.

First of all. the truck is being sold with 108. 12 ACTUAL MILES and the title verifies that. This was a clean and stock pickup that the prior owner had for many years before he made the decision to completely redo it into the mild Pro-Street truck you see in the photos below.

The body on this fleetside pickup is extra straight and super solid. and I have taken my trusty 4”x4” felt covered magnet over the entire truck and it sticks without issue.

This has been a Southern truck since new. and spent the past 20 years of its life in Florida. primarily in an air conditioned garage with about 13 other collector cars.

The body has no signs of rust or rot. and I cannot see any cosmetic issues other than a handful or so very small stone chips and marks from everyday driving.

The white paint on the truck is just a few years old. because the truck underwent a complete restoration in 2009. and that’s when it was finished.

The white finish is really clean and glossy. and shows wonderfully in person.

The trim and bright work on the truck is a mix of old and new. and all of it looks great. The front and rear bumpers are new chrome units. the door handles are original and show very light patina. the head lamp bezels are clean and polished. as is the grill insert and wiper arms.

The truck rides on CENTERLINE Drag style wheels that are clean and undamaged. and wrapped in giant MICKEY THOMPSON SPORTSMAN TIRES out back sized 31x16. 50x5. and Daytona Radial SR tires up front. which are sized P255/70R15. They are clean. undamaged. and have a fair amount of useable tread left on them.

The leather full snap tonneau cover is in excellent condition. and all of the snaps and buttons are intact and functional. It has railing supports in place that are aluminum. and each one is removable.

The bed is the original steel bed floor. and you can see from the underside of the truck that it is clean. solid steel with no rust. rot. or repair issues. The inside of the bed has been treated to a thin coating of Rhino Liner like material for protection.

Mini-tubbed inner fenders are cleanly and professionally installed. and almost appear factory.

Tail gate is rock solid and rot and rust free. It opens and closes as it should without issue.

Glass on the truck is in exceptional condition. and shows no cracks. chips. or damage. The tint on the side windows looks to be a special style tint. as it has some uniform style marks throughout on each side.

All of the fuzzies. door seals. weather stripping. and seals appear to be in very good or brand new condition. with no rotting. cracking or damage. Everything seals up weather tight. and when we washed it with the power washer. no water got inside the cab.

Speaking of the cab. opening the doors on this Chevy reveals a stunning interior with all the comforts of home.

Custom gray tweed automotive grade upholstery graces the re-sprung bench seat. dash cap. door panels. and visors on the truck. and it all shows wonderfully. with no damage. stains. or issues.

Factory seat belts are still intact and functional.

New carpeting covers the floors. and was installed of a layer of sound and heat proofing material. It is stain and issue free. and shows like new.

Tweed also covers the matching kick panel speaker boxes fit with Pioneer 100W 2-way speakers. and the under seat speaker boxes. which are equipped with Pioneer multi-array speakers. Also under the seat are the amplifier. which gets the signal from Retro Design stereo deck that has modern digital tuner. adaptability for ipod. mp3 use. and fits in the factory location without the need to cut the stock dash.

Factory steering column is in great condition. and is topped with the original steering wheel with its leather wrap. Power steering and power brakes make this truck a joy to drive.

The dash is clean and simple. and houses stock gauging that appears to be accurate and fully functional.

Factory heater controls are still intact. and underneath the dash is the Air Conditioning unit. which has been converted to R134 and blows extremely cold air from all settings.

Glove box opens. and is cleanly lined inside.

The shifter boot is leather. and has a late model 90’s GM shift arm and knob to help you sort through the gears. It works wonderfully. and shifts solid and smooth.

The chassis on the truck is clean and solid. and shows well.

Front disc brakes and rear drums brakes slow it down with ease. and without any unusual pulling or fade.

Suspension components. steering components. and other chassis items look great. and you can tell they have been recently replaced or refurbished.

The engine bay is super clean. and according to the prior owner. the original 350CID motor is what sits inside it.

He stated that the motor had been completely torn down to the block. and rebuilt with a mix of NOS and performance parts. and after looking it over carefully. I don’t doubt it.

He said that the build was to 375hp. and that is what was on the display panel he took to the shows as well. I have NOT dyno tested the truck. but can tell you that it sure feels like that much when you whomp on the gas pedal.

You can see that practically every nut and bolt looks new. and the edges of the seals you can see show like they were recently installed.

It has a dual pump Holley 650cfm carb. real headers with a true dual exhaust and actual FlowMASTER mufflers. chrome valve covers. air cleaner covers. a custom made stainless A/C compressor shield and more.

All of the wiring and plugs look recent. and everything works together to get this truck rolling without any issues.

It starts. idles. and runs clean. Snick it into gear and the clutch actuates perfectly to get you rolling.

Power is smooth and shifting is easy when you want it to be. but if burnouts are your cup of tea. this truck will respond to a heavy throttle and gear-banging like a drag racer!

It rolls down the road wonderfully. doesn’t do anything strange. and has power to spare in all speeds.

Once on the highway. snick it into 5th gear. and let the overdrive drop those engine revs down to save gas money and engine wear.

The truck is great around town. and is also super highway friendly too. I took it on an 80 mile round trip to a car show. and found no issues with it.

It runs very cool. even with the A/C on in stop and go traffic. Idle quality never changes. and the truck drives like a much newer vehicle.

I can’t imagine you having to do anything to the truck to drive and enjoy it except clean it. As you can see in the extra-large photos. it was not detailed by me. so a Saturday afternoon spent going over it from front to back will make it show even better.

Other than that. it seems to be ready to go wherever you want to take it!

The truck is titled in FLORIDA as a 1967 CHEVROLET. and shows as having ACTUAL MILEAGE.  

It is in the dealerships name. and is NOT a consignment car.

It is ready for transfer to the next owner. and is eligible for export sale as well.
