hi there up for sale is my 1962 Austin seven mini witch I have owned for five years. the car has had 11 owners and has covered 96252 miles. please please note that the car is 52 years old and some of the past owners have not been to interested in keeping this mini original and even the modifications I have done were only to keep this car on the road as some people would have given up or scraped the car for less. and all changes were planed to be changed back once I started my plan to restore the car and if this car was 100% original I would be asking way more . all parts fitted are original parts but maybe not all for this model mini. im now including a pair of rust free doors-boot lid-two bonnets-new wings/front panel and a genuine heritage scuttle panel and new door window runners these parts have cost me nearly £1000 to assemble . as well as all parts removed by myself . the car is fitted with an low mileage 1100 cc mini engine with 3 into 1 manifold and rc 40 exhaust ( twin carbs in photo have been removed and replaced with single carb ) witch puts out 45. 9 bhp with a rod change gear box. the engine was changed when orignal engine 95000 miles when it started miss firing at the finish of the London to brighton mini run. also the brakes have been changed from single leading drum brakes to 7. 5"mini cooper disc brakes witch means it now stops so much better and in a straight line helped buy the falcon 165/65/10 tyres fitted to cooper s reverse rim steel wheels. the car is solid and with only a small amount of rust around front and rear window. my plans for the car were to replace the front scuttle panel and wings and front panel. not that there rusty or rotten but only to smarten up the front of the car and to give the car what it deserves but you've got rember that this mini is 52 years old . I have also fitted a smiths oil pressure and temp gauge witch dose help when in hot weather . the number plate 1958 UN in its self is worth well over £1000 if removed but the car deserves to keep its original number plate. the car dose not have an MOT but I have been round it and its in a MOT passable condition .
