1987 BMW 518I BLUE E28 LUX for sale

Beautifully presented BMW 518 i. petrol injection. 5 speed manual. RHD. 4 door saloon in cirrus blue metallic. Full BMW service history from new 72682 original miles.
The vehicle belonged to an elderly gentleman in Isle of Wight (hence the low mileage) who sadly passed away. The car was then stored for 4 years. The lacquer on the roof and bonnet was crazing so the car has been both professionally resprayed and shultz undersealed. This refinishing was not a quick respray. all the exterior fittings were removed. vehicle then had 3 coats of epoxy 2 pack primer. prepared before final paint. the process took 7 weeks. The interior is light sand virtually unmarked. period stereo. factory steel sunroof with new BMW seal. Car comes with 5 original resprayed steel rims on good Uniroyal 440 tires with original hubcaps + a set of 4 BBS period correct alloys (Firestone tires inc). 3 proper rear seat belts. New rear shelf covering. Original tool kit. Electric windows and wing mirrors.
Both original keys. original supplied folder Drivers seat outer lumber support re-upholstered professionally. not a perfect match but very close and unnoticeable. also included is 2 X 3 metres of BMW cloth. hard to find.
New battery. viscous coupling. rear brakes. calipers. wipers. roll bar bushes. ew rear number plate lights. new number plates. suspension bushes. floor mats. gear knob and gaitor. one new headlight. BMW bonnet. boot and hubcap labels.
MOT until July 11 th 2013 and Taxed till end of June. Last full service March 2012. fluid change and filters along with the aforementioned brakes etc undertaken by local BMW approved garage. This car is not concourse. although very clean and solid.
Has to one of the best there is.
Economical and well built. Price is fair I believe. All receipts for the money spent which far outreaches the asking price.
Only thing that needs done is align the steering which I'll try and get sorted next weekend.
