This is a Triumph 2500 TC ex Metropolitan Police car. It was in service from 1978 to 1981 when it then entered private ownership. I bought it in a poor state in 2011 when it had been off the road for about 8 years. It has had replacement doors. repair panels to front and rear wings . new front bumper and new centre section of the rear bumper. It has had new calipers. discs and pads to the front brakes and new shoes on the rear brakes and a new handbrake cable. It has also had a new rear section exhaust. front wheel bearings and steering bushes. a new water pump. wing mirrors. hub caps. battery. radiator hoses and washer bottle and pump. It has also had a professional complete respray. It has also been fitted with lumenition ignition. coil. plugs. oints and condenser. The interior is very good. the drivers seat has a small tear but this is only minor. The headlining is torn where whoever stripped the car of its roof lights couldn't be bothered to drop the headlining and just tore it. It isn't as bad as that sounds but could do with tidying. The car is fitted with a working blue beacon. and has the correct roof lights fitted although these are not wired in. There are the correct two tone horns fitted as well. The car drives well. the engine pulls well and the automatic gearbox changes as it should. The car has done less than 300 miles in the last two years.

This car is extremely rare. the only other one of its type that I know of is in the Metropolitan Police museum collection. It has just gone through an MOT and I have just taxed it for six months. As can be seen above I have spent a lot of money on restoring this car and the asking price is well below what I have spent.
