For sale is my old Mercedes 280 SE W 108. I have owned this car for around three years now and ive loved every minute of that time. Im only selling the old girl because I have so many old cars I realy just dont have the room for her any more. and at least one must go. and im tossing a coin either this one or an E type. so about the car. The merc is a 1970 280 se the colour is a very dark brown but every one thinks its black. the paint is in realy nise condition for the year there is some bits and bobs on the bodywork like some minor blistering here and there but nothing serious there has been a  period glass sun roof fitted at some time i guess in the seventies but no leaks or whistles. The chromwork is all an realy good condition and shines very well. The dark maroon leather is all in perfect condition and is realy comfortable with no rips tears or wear marks as is the carpets ect. There is a period sterio system. all the tyres are good with plenty of tread on them. Brakes are all good. Chssis is all good and solid and well undersealed. The engine is absolutly perfect with full oil presure. the head was romoved just before I bought the car to enable it to run on unleaded fuel. The transmision is all working great and as it should. The milage on the car is 44. 000 miles I calnt guarentee it but I think it might be genuine. I took the car out today and did a one hundred mile trip and it loved every minute of it and went fantastic. All in all the car is in realy good condition and deserves a good home. it will give some one good service and I will guarentee you will get plenty of looks at her because you dont very often see one on the road and certenly not one in this condition. The car is for sale and I dont want stupid money for it but please dont come with stupid buy it now offers. please com and have a look at the car befor you bid so you wont be dsisapointed and please dont come and kick tyres as this will be frowned on. I have got the car advertised elsewhere and obviously do reserve the right to remove it from auction.
