Seller's notes: "Missing parts and requires complete restoration. Some parts of the car have rust through and there is no floor pan. Other very important parts and accessories are in good to excellent shape and are very valuable if you had to buy them. The doors, dash, steering wheel, rumble seat lid, trunk lid, and hood are not fully attached since this car was previously disassembled, however, a good amount of effort was put forward in order to secure all other parts of the car such as the front end, rear end, fenders, running boards and wheels. Please do not hesitate to submit your questions at any time via email. thank, William Gilstrap"

I am happy to introduce you to my 1937 Packard 115c Convertible.   My father purchased this car in 1979 from an eccentric man in Colima. Mexico.   My father gradually found many accessories and replacement parts over the last 30 years.   Because of the need to preserve many of the important components from deteriorating. he removed most parts and stored them away.   As you can see in the pictures. there are many great parts that will help you in the restoration process.    Please understand that this car requires complete restoration and will need additional parts to complete.   It has no floor pan. but the trunk and rumble seat floor is in relatively good condition.   It does not have a gas tank.   The car did not run when purchased. but the motor and transmission are all there.   I have not been able to locate the starter. generator and pressure plate.   If I run across any more parts for this car after you win the auction and take it home.  I will contact you and make arrangements to ship at once.   There is rust throughout the car as it should be expected. especially being a convertible.   The rear fenders will require a lot of work. nbsp; The driver side front fender is in great shape.   It only has a small crack at the upper area of the wheel opening.   The headlights and their stands are in great condition.   The grill still looks good and is very restorable.   The windshield frame is very rare and is in great shape.   I have the convertible top mechanism. which is in great condition.   It really only needs chroming.   The body of the hood is also nice.   It will need some work in the center hinge area. but the handle and latching mechanisms work fine.   Very little wood left.   I have a few pieces for the purpose of using as a pattern.   No working seat or rumble seat as they will have to be purchased.   I do have the front seat frame and back.   The dash gauges are very nice.   It has the original clock.   The Banjo steering wheel is nice and only needs very minor refinishing and a horn button.

I am also including the radio box and dial. which is missing one knob only.   The heater and vent mechanism. nbsp; the complete set of interior door window cranks. the window roll up mechanisms. interior door handles and vent window.   Per the pictures. You can appreciate the many parts you will be getting with this car.   There is a lot of work to be done. but the value and rarity of Pre-war convertible Packard cars is increasing rapidly.   Just check out Barrett Auctions and see what the 1937 Packard Convertibles are going for.   It is common to see the ones in gem condition sell for well over one hundred thousand dollars.   This is your opportunity to own and restore a fading piece of American history.

More detailed pictures will be provided upon request.

As customary. I would recommend that you personally inspect this car so that you can better appreciate its condition.   I am not an expert in car restoration and therefore can only give you my opinion. so please do not bid on this car unless you are serious about owning it.

This car has no title.   eBay made me select a Title option in order to list this 78 year old car.   I do have all the supporting documents such as the bill of sale and all of the customs paperwork for when we brought it back to the United States.

This car is being sold AS-IS. with no warranties expressed or implied.   All sales are final.   You are responsible to arrange pick up of the vehicle within 7 days of end of auction.   Payment must be received within 3 days of end of auction.   No international bidders. and no bidders with no bidding history.   I reserve the right to exercise my rights under eBay's buyer/seller policy.

Please feel free to email me with questions before you bid.   You can also call me at 702-755-0916. but Only after 3:30 pm Pacific Time. or leave a message and I will return your call when I get home after work.

Don't let this opportunity pass you buy and take this very special 1937 Packard Convertible home.   My father always dreamed of restoring it one day and I just don't have the time.   So. please feel free to communicate with me so I can help you bid with confidence.
