1964 TR 4 Runs and drives great. original 2138 cc. 2. 1 liter motor. 104 bhp 4. 00 rpm. compression: 9. 0:1 Engine compression now: 165. 70. 65. 70 Solid lifters.

Excellent mechanical condition.

TR 4 s are similar in use to early MGBs however they have larger displacement and a more powerful engine. all synchromesh transmissions. and a bit more interior room.

Looks very classic with the wood dashboard. drives like a strong sports car. Impressive Handling

Needs a soft top. It has five newish wire wheels. new spare and almost new Vresteins 15 tires. Original 4 speed manual transmission. never in an accident. straight body. correct dash and working gauges including tachometer.

Beautiful yellow with tan interior. very clean wood dashboard. twin 40 DCOE Webers. Title read 77092 miles in 1998. it has now 78000.

On June/09 the following items were replaced. Steering R/R . brake and clutch master cylinders. clutch slave. rear wheel cilinders and shoes. upper ball joints. and suspension. carbs rebuilt. fuel system cleaned and refurbished. R/R gas tank. valve adjustment. brake hoses. axle seals. There is more. too much to list. Total bill 9900. 00. S erviced by Motor Head an excellent local British car repair facility:

Interior is in very good condition. panels. seats. and carpets. Our tests: compression is 165-170 psi. no smoke cold or hot. 75-90 psi oil pressure. Easy cold start up. gearbox works perfectly. same with brakes. wiring looks very good. not a speck of rust in the trunk floor. sills and chassis rails look very good with some patina. same with floor pans. clean engine bay. even the chrome is very good except for the rear bumper.

A quick. very nice car that offers a roomy interior. roomy trunk. superior handling and steering.
