Sale price: $14,500.00 make an offer

Seller's notes: "The GTO has had 10k worth of parts invested over the past year. It only needs a dash pad, headliner, carpet, and the seats need to be reupholstered and completely redone. The interior needs to be assembled. Very solid project. Has had floor pans and trunk pans welded in. Needs very little to be a show car. Is a step above driver quality paint job."

You are bidding on a  true 242 VIN 1968 Pontiac GTO. It is a non matching numbers car but it has a Pontiac 400 from a 70' model catalina. It is a 4 barrel motor. This car runs and drives as it should. It was an everyday driver before the restoration was started. It has been freshly painted the original factory color Mayfair Maze. All new items are as follows. red line tires. pontiac rally wheels and center caps. all outside chrome and trim. weather strip. window felt. turn signal housing and lights. hood tache. underhood insulation mat. door panels. window rollers. door latches and door locks. which were  all purchased through Ames Performance Group.  Also comes with a set of spindels to convert it to a disc brake car. It came factory with hideaway headlights but previous owner replaced it with a lemans nose which he treated and painted. To be fully completed it will need a dash pad. headliner. carpet. seats fully redone and reupholstered. and all that assembled. With that beng said I have priced the remaining items needed and at Ames all this could be purchased for $2000 and done in a weekend. This is a very solid car and you will not be disappointed with the performance. With a little elbow grease you could have a great vintage ride. I don't even like saying this is a project because a project takes time and this really would not. Its a great car and just needs someone who appreciates Pontiacs or GTOs. HAPPY BIDDING!
