1937 Chevrolet Hot Rod Pickup 5 speed one of a kind! for sale
Current customer rating:
Up for sale is my 1937 Chevy hot rod truck. I collected parts for over 6 years for this build and got it on the road about 4 Years ago. Its got about 4. 00 miles on it and drives awesome. I started by building a custom frame based off a 32 coupe stretched 6" for 112" wheelbase. 3" Z in the front And 10" kick up in the rear. I spent 3 weeks building this frame so it would handle a blown big block if I had the desire to drop on in. 4" drop super bell front with "so-low" mono leaf in front. And radius rods in front. One sided rack and pinion steering. Disc brakes on front drums on rear. Rear end mounted with coil covers and 32" radius rods. hooks up great! Custom balanced driveline. 22 gallon fuel cell feeds 3 x 2 barrel Rochester 2 g carbs with progressive linkage 990 cfm! And you can tell. Electric cooling fan for a Rock solid 180° even when its 100 out! Sanderson headers with auger baffle. 5 speed manual. black and white gauges. tip out windshield. set up side window regulaters but did not cut the glass yet. Been busy driving it! Coker whitewalls 650-16 front and 750-16 rear and red powder coated wheels baby moons and beauty rings. 50 Pontiac tail lights and custom 100 watt glass backup lights super bright! Honestly too much to list but definately is a one of a kind. 35 grill shell sectioned 9" to fit the build. worked over a week on straightening and fab work. 32 headlights on custom spider web stands. All new wiring. totally one of a kind milled firewall cover. we started with a 1/2" thick plate of T 6 aluminium and machined 1/4" deep 1/4" horizontal fins. Super expensive but way cool! Definaltly not a "rat rod" I personally hate the term. This thing is a race car under an old custom body. I have over 19 years welding and fabricating experience I would not hesitate to drive this vehicle anywhere. Rebuilt oregon title. I thought I would never sell it. but for enough $$$ it may be time to move on. If you have any questions please ask and I will be happy to answer them. Thanks for looking
