This classic early series BMW 2002 coupe is a rare find. It has been stored on a farm in western NSW for the past 26 years. The previous female owner had a business in Canberra as well as being the farmer's wife. I understand there are certain procedures recommended prior to starting a vehicle that has been stored for some time. the car was driven to the place I picked it up. I turned the motor by hand half a turn to ensure that it hadn't seized. The windscreen is broken. has a hole in it with large cracks across the screen. Price of a new windscreen is $380 fitted. Many cars of this model have a lot of rust. but thanks to the climate in western NSW. the exterior of the car has been very well preserved. As the photos show. there are some signs of rust. but minimal. Paintwork is faded and has crows feet. A couple of trims are missing on the passenger door and right hand side of the bonnet. One hub cap is missing. Original jack and wheel spanner still in the boot of the car. This is an ideal restoration project. because it is in such good condition for its age. I will consider swapping this vehicle for something. We reserve the right to remove this article. as it has been advertised elsewhere.
