Seller's notes: "Missing headlight trim ring, has top frame but needs new fabric top, could use new head gasket, drivers door is not assembled but the glass, panels and mechanism are there (see photo). Sun visors and mirror and assorted goodies are in the coffee can. Car runs and drives. Brakes are spongy and 1st gear sinchro is a little sloppy. The speedometer is not working so the mileage cannot be certified. Car appears to be rust free but has a few scratches and subtle dings here and there"

Up for auction is a wonderful little garage find. This Austin Healey Sprite was in the process of being restored. I don't know when it was painted or the last time it was driven before I bought it. The owner needed the money way more than the car and I don't have the time to finish it so she gets to go to the highest bidder. It starts and drives but needs some love. As far as I can tell. it is all there except for a headlight trim ring and some various screws. It will need a new top but the frame is there. She will need a head gasket and the first gear sinchro tended to. The drivers door is not finish assembled but the window . vent window . anels and mechanisms are in the back seat ( see photo ) I honestly don't know very much about Austin Healey but she's pretty darn straight . She has the factory hub caps which I thought was very cool. The electrics also need to be finished. lights. blinkers and such. maybe fuses. but like I said she starts. runs and drives. There is a little rust out on the inner quarters behind the wheels.
