Up for sale is my prized collectors find that I no longer have the time to finish. Hoping to pass it on to a fellow enthusiast who will restore it to its glory.

ABOUT

Started Restoration and unfortunately have no time to complete. Taken half the car to bare metal and primed. then started working on floor when work stopped. Car is in amazing shape except for the floors.

I have all period correct metal ready to weld in. spent a full year aquiring and having the piecs custom made. This is an extremely early MK 1 car and as such they do not make the body panels for them. So the starting auction price is at my cost for the body $2 k and new custom metal at $4 k. not the hundred hours already invested.

Body is in extremely great shape for these first cars. only the floors need attention for which I have painstakenly assembled and had custom made in Europe and shipped to the states.

WHAT YOU GET Everything seen in the photos below unless otherwise stated. There will also be a few extras thrown in depending on what is found when I clean out the storage unit. Basically you are bidding on the Shell. Doors. Boot Lid. and Floorpans. Steering wheel. Gas Tank. plus both front and rear subframes. Anything else is a bonus or negotiated extra.

Note half of these panels had to be custom made by M-Machine in Europe since this is such an early car no one sells or makes single sill floors.

SHIPPING

I am located in Orlando. FL.

I will arrange shipping to you at your expense at lowest cost possible. or you can make your own arrangements. The car is not on wheels so it will need to be boxed or loaded on a flatbed. If you are in the South East I can trailer the car to you at cost for time and gas. I can box and ship freight via truck anywhere in the USA. If you are overseas you will need to arrange your own transport. I can get it loaded on a freight truck from normal warehouse loading dock.

Again you are responsible for any shipping expenses. car weight and floor pans is probably 700-1000 lbs.
