PACKARD SINGLE SIX TOURING CAR 1923 for sale

The Single Six was an affordable model. had good fuel economy and long tire life. and shared many features with Packard's larger models. The shared features included four-wheel brakes and a service brake-actuated spotlight. along with a tonneau light and long-grain black leather upholstery for open cars.
1923 Packard single six touring. This restored Packard unfortunately was never completed by the previous owner who had lovingly worked on every detail of this car for a number of years. The hard work has been completed. and the mechanical and body work of the vehicle is in very good condition. Tires are new. and the soft top whilst intact has not been completed. with some fabric still required. the original glass rear screen is included.
The six cylinder engine has been running in recent times. the engine and all body parts have matching numbers where visible. The instruments are correct and original. as are the headlamps and the art deco front bumper. The car is large at over 16 feet in length and holds the classic lines of the Art Deco era.
This car is an easy car to complete and most of the necessary parts are included even down to the original Packard jack. The car was originally registered in New York. and the original 1923 dated plates are included. it is currently located in Urbanna Virginia and can be shipped worldwide upon request.
1923 was the pinnacle of car design in the classic art deco era One can easily imagine this car being driven through New York to the Empire state building and even flaunting its incredibly good looking lines in front of the Chrysler building. probably one of New York's most iconic art deco skyscrapers. It awaits a passionate and loving new owner to restore this dream vehicle to its original factory finish. One cannot help but admire the designers who blended art deco clocks. bumpers and graceful lines and made a large and imposing automobile into a beautiful motor car. There are several boxes of parts included in the sale. 2 spare wheels with new tyres fitted.
