1972 OPEL GT (rare automatic and 4800 miles) car has been garaged for 30 years but started every 3 months. 4800 miles is on the odometer and there is 4800 miles with exceeds mechanical limits on title (could be the odometer rolled over or actual . but I could never know. I wasn't there for the last 40 years. Interior is black leather but has some wear on seats and dash. Car has been painted but everything looks to be original. except wheels. probably best OPEL find ever. I imagine a collector could really make this untouchable in value.
This car has newer paint/tires/plugs/battery/alternator/wires/dash and aftermarket PIONEER sound!!
I bought this from a person who said it had been stored and kept original (survivor).
new headlight switch

For all the rude people I am posting an update!!!
This car was sanded down/ body work was done/ it was primered and I used 3 coats of paint. I also sprayed 2 coats of clear. It was red but faded and needed little body work. It was painted 6 weeks ago. I am not a professional painter. but it seems maybe the clear (single stage or something) isn't that super shiny look. I can only think that a good wet sand or buff and polish would make it look like that expensive paint job. I am not claiming it has some 5000 dollar paint job (my starting bid is low. obviously). I have only meant to make her look way better and keep her nice (although I didn't do as great as someone else with the after polish and buff. I cannot verify the mileage except. oh yeah. it's on the title and odometer. I also can't say that it is perfect. it has a small tear on seat (pretty good for 40 years and leather). I thought this car was just truly cool and wanted to keep it that way. I am sorry to all the mean people who think I can't paint (probably needed more of something). but I did do a great job on the sanding and body work and paint. I don't know if maybe the clear should have been more expensive. but it still is a great little car. the car does have new plugs. lots of new wiring/new alternator/new battery/ new tires and of course refreshed paint. There are little things like the turn signals flash inside but not out. and racing stripe was done in vinyl not paint. THERE. now everyone can be happy that my starting price isn't for a perfect car. although it seems for the age it has little wrong and for the price newer paint is better then no paint (not to mention no rust). I can't see how people can be so rude on here. I have listed what seems to be a pretty cool . low mileage(if accurate. lowest mileage ever). Thanks and good luck bidding
