Bought beginning of the year through the opel manta owners club.
My intentions were to put a c 20 xe or a c 20 let into it.
I cannot bring myself to do this as its original 2. 0 Litre CIH 8 valve engine runs faultless.
Since owning i have used the car for weekend driving and took to a few classic car shows as i have re registered the vehicle with the manta owners club.
Car was previously restored and painted 6 years ago. work undertaken included refurbished fuel tank by a company in Liverpool. also new brake lines front to back. inner sills and wings. new plugs and distributor and a full respray in its original polar white.
I get lots of attention driving this classic about as they are becoming very rare not many left on the road. Selling as i hope it goes to a good home where it can remain totally original as the value of the mantas are going up and up.
has m. o. t until 26 th October which will not be a issue as no minors previously and barely been used.
interior is totally original highly desired recaro which are in immaculate condition has a slight scuff on drivers side bolster. i have put a CD player in as its original stereo didn't have FM wave. this will also come with the car with the original cassette tape holder.
bodywork is in really good condition for age. does have slight bubbling on arches and inside doors also a small bubble on roof. Does have a really good shine and stands out with its morrette headlamps which do have the proper rubber surrounds. this is not the sunroof model so all pillars are solid. Car starts and drives first time every time no heating issue ive drove this home in motorway traffic at a stand still runs perfect.

im a honest seller engine is mint ive had this 32 year old beast in 3 figures easily does pull well once going along.

has the 5 speed getrag gear box also which is faultless. alloys are immaculate tyres have full tread. ready to get in and drive away. any inspection welcome as i say its on the road taxed m. o. t and insured so test drive not a problem. very clean example of this 3 door GTE hatchback.

Has a full peco exhaust system fitted and lowered 40 mm

bad points
small chip in windscreen passenger side and rear wiper has stopped working the other week.
only them 2 small issues. i Have listed the car for £4. 00 which is open to offers. Do not want any px or swaps cash only sale cheers
