For sale: 1957 International Harvester Pickup Truck S112 series. Truck is in excellent condition. Road legal & currently inspected and registered. Comes with valid NYS transferable registration (title). Under the hood you will find the original 220 inline 6 engine and 3 speed manual transmission. The truck has a nice pain job with the traditional International Harvester red and white color pattern. There has been a 12 volt upgrade from the original 6 volt system. The old 6 volt generator will be sent with truck in case someone wants to restore it. The truck bed has received bed liner and is solid. No holes. excellent shape. The undercarriage has received undercoating. A modern stereo has been put in as well along with 3 sets of seatbelts. It has a split shifter installed on the floor. It is equipped with a creeper (low gear) and 2 additional higher speed gears. It will do up to 45mph comfortably and 55-60 top speed. Interior has carpeted floors. excellent bench seat. headliner. and visors. This style truck the hood can open from either the left or the right or unlatched and removed completely. Also this vehicle has a vent that can be opened in the center of the cab which creates an airscoop that allows fresh air in to help keep you cool in the summer. All headlight. taillights. brake lights function as should.

The odometer states 48. 90 however it has about 3. 00 more than that. it wasn't reinstalled after last summer. Also the original speedometer and fuel gage is the 6 volt and need to be hooked up they never bothered me so I just didn't do it. I drive the truck routinely. It has an additional fan installed by the radiator in case you are stuck in traffic in 100 degree weather to keep the radiator cool that has a switch inside the cab to operate.

Known flaws or issues:

All of these are minor but I want to be 100% upfront and honest. Windshield wipers and horn worked up until about a month ago. now only seem to work intermittently. I was going to check the wiring or install an aftermarket wiper motor but I am selling this truck to pay for 2 surgeries I just had. I did not know if someone would want an aftermarket wiper or would prefer the original. Also this winter when driving it our weather got down to 15 below 0 and when starting the bendix would occasionally slip when starting. It has never done it after the vehicle is warmed up or when the weather is above freezing. My mechanic said he believed it to be something minor and to drive it until spring and he would look at either a selanoid or the fact that it's probably just the old grease and should be regreased. Again I have driven this repeatedly 20 miles round trip to work and back and has not been a problem. If it does slip I simply just crank it over again and it will go.

The truck comes with an old custom built camper; it can be taken off if not desired. This has been fun for me and family while camping and has a bunk built into the back of the camper that can sleep 2 adults. The camper has an access hatch on the top and a rack to attach kayaks or canoes. This truck I would not say is a show truck though a lot of people think it is. I have taken good care of the vehicle and used it regularly but respectfully. I will gladly help meet any shipping company if needed at my home. There is hardly any rust on this truck. I did include a picture of one cab corner that you can see someone had filled a spot the size of a tennis ball long before I owned it. That area is very solid though. There are some minor paint chips from rocks from driving. All the glass is good; the doors open and close easily. I regret selling it but hope someone will enjoy it like I have. I will include a large shop manual from the 50's as well as the lube charts that go with it. This information shows you how to repair anything as well as parts breakdown. This is a very valuable resource. Thank you for looking. There is no reserve. bidders must have a minimum of 10 ratings (feedback) also upon auction ending a non refundable deposit of $500 will be due through paypal only within 72 hours and the remainder of the balance will be accepted in cashiers check (certified bank check) or money order only. I will not release the vehicle for shipping until the funds have been verified or cleared.

Additional photo uploaded of the undercarriage per request. You can see that it is rust free and is undercoated. Sorry about the fact you can still see the water marks it was wet out.

Sorry. Just read the printed information. It's a beautiful truck. Thanks again.

I notice you have what looks like new windshield wipers. What kind of wipe motor does the truck use? Also, is it a 6 volt or 12 volt electrical system? And, does it have an overdrive transmission? Thanks.
