1969 International Scout 800a

Well. this is the Binder y'all have been waiting for to come to Auction. This is the Scout that the early Bronco's wished we're never born! The 800's we're the true SUV that started it all and others tried to copy. The majority of these baby Scout were the 4 cylinder model and although they we're great off-road vehicles. they were underpowered and tough to drive on today's modern roads and highways. This 1969 is the one to have! Not only is it the most desirable year and best looking model. but it's the super rare "V" model with a very stout 266 V8. If your lucky enough to find one of these. they will probably be coupled with a manual trans but to make this 800 even more desirable is that it is coupled with an Automatic Trans!

This particular 800 was located in a barn in California and was stored as a daily driver back in the day. The Scout is 100% rust free and I even took pics before it was rhino lined for verification. This beautiful Scout is simply jaw dropping and you can expect to draw huge attention whenever it's driven. The color that was chosen for fresh paint was '08 Mercedes silver . The body was straight with zero damage and an easy truck to paint. This baby Scout runs amazing and have recently taken it on (2) 350 mi road trips without even a hiccup. The original Holley carb was rebuilt. It has a new custom aluminum radiator. motor has been checked with all new fluids and gaskets. New water tubes. new Optima. new alternator. new regulator. It runs awesome and sound great! The front interior is new and the very tough to find rear seat in original and in perfect condition. A custom diamond plate dash was installed with after market gauges because the original gauges we're junk and I wanted to know what was going on in my motor at all times. The tranny works great and shifts firm with a tranny cooler installed up front. New Black Pro Comp Steelies are wrapped with new Hankook Mud Terrains (31x10. 5x15). She sits at just the right height and looks great! Only needs a couple of things to be 100% complete: gas gauge doesn't work (not a big surprise. they never do) and just needs new senders. The turn signals don't work and haven't had the time to dive into the steering column to replace the switch. The steering box will need to be rebuilt. it has a flat spot when turning on a severe right turn. jus haven't had time to have it rebuilt. The top is currently off but I have the original hard top and had it painted satin black when I had the paint done. I also have the rear tire carrier that was on it and those are very rare as well but think it looks cleaner with it off. Custom made pre-runner front and rear bumpers we're installed and painted black satin. New windshield glass was cut and installed with new rubber.

Check out the prices of what the early Bronco's are pulling and you'll be confident that this 800a is worth every penny and a great investment.
