Original paint with some surface rust. Have not found ANY CANCER. Small amount of repainting to keep down rust on wheels, bumpers, door steps, bed steps and red primer on floor of dent free bed. Heater works, does not get hot. Frozen push/pull tempature cable. Glove box linner shot. Heater pipes that carries the air shot. Electric wipers work one speed and hard to turn on.Door seals are there but old. Windshield visors bad. Floor of cab has rotting carpet. The gas tank on passengers side and filler spout is removed. The tank is rusted bad on the bottom and has some holes. I have the tank. Gas gauge on drivers side does not work. Brakes work, but could use some bleeding and adjusting. MORE RARE THAN A (DOWN ON THE FARM) BARN FIND.
Here is A FAMILY OWNED. Never been down on the farm. 1958 International A120 4 wheel drive long bed pickup that is up for sale by the 3rd registerd owner and it is currently LICENSED. INSURED. DRIVEABLE with manual brakes and steering.  I have the original factory build sheet and owners manual and six extra wheels. The truck was ordered new by my sister-in-laws father before he retired and he set it up to tow a 18 foot travel trailer and added a full sleeper canopy on the bed. He had it registered as a house car for as long as he had it. He and his wife traveled all over the US and a couple trips to Alaska. The truck had a 264 cubic inch 6 cyl. and on one of the trips to Alaska. the motor gave out. All he could get up there was a 240 cubic inch and he had it installed and is still running very good. The odometer shows 154. 88 and there is a tag behind the glass that says "plus 54. 00 miles" which could be when he put in the 240? After the original owner passed away. his daughter (my sister-in-law) inherited the truck. She and my brother had the truck for some 20/25 years and passed it on to me in a not running condition. I have had the truck for approx. 7 years and have spent some time making it road worthy. I am 70 and do not have the time or energy or money to continue maintaining it. I drive it about once or twice a month and it looks like a truck. sounds like a truck. rides like a truck. and drives like a truck. The running gear seems solid. the clutch is good and no double clutching required. The valves are a little noisy. no knocks or bangs and does not smoke. Motor starts right up. nbsp;Idles smoothy and has plenty of power and holds 50 to 60 pounds oil pressure. The body is solid as a rock and I could not find any Cancer. I put a set of matching Michelin Radial tires that came off a motor home with new radial tubes and new flaps on the Split rims and had them spun balanced. The steering is a little loose. but no shakes or shimeying. The brakes work. but could use bleeding and adjusting. The family agrees that it is time to find this family truck a new home. I hope all this helps you decide if you will be the caretaker number 4. I have just created this E-Bay account and Paypal account and I am feeling my way through it.
