This is a fantastic and rare opportunity to purchase a very early Triumph Stag.
These H reg Stags don't often come up for sale especially running. in excellent condition and Moted.
In the book "Triumph Stag the complete history" by James Taylor and Dave Jell. it mentions probably around 30 cars were registered with the H suffix which makes this car almost unique.
Triumph Stag 1970 H reg commission number LD 79 which makes this the 79 th stag off the production line on 29 th May 1970 and was 1 st registered on 19 th June 1970 from Triumph main dealers Durham and Haines of Luton.
Finished in royal blue with saddle tan interior.
It is fitted with a Triumph V 8 engine which has been fully rebuilt by Mr Howard Vasey approximately 500 miles ago.
The suspension has been refurbished and new shock absorbers fitted.
The automatic gear box works nice and smooth.
The interior is in excellent condition with new foams fitted to seats complimented with a new carpet fitted at the end of last year.
The wood panelling has been refurbished along with the dials.
The paint work is in very good condition.
All in all a very unique Stag and possibly a one off opportunity to purchase one of the first Stag's built.
